During their studies, most people learn to write academically. But how do you translate complex scientific knowledge into a compelling and accessible text — a news article, press release, or blog post?
In this workshop you learn various techniques to present scientific knowledge in a widely understandable form. You will learn to apply journalistic and popularisation skills to a subject of your own choice. All participants receive a PDF summary of the learning points and workshop materials by email afterwards.
Preparation
During this workshop you will work on your own article. Think in advance about a topic to practise with — your thesis project, current research, or a hobby. As long as you know it well and are passionate about it!
